Bury Court Barn Wedding – Louise & David
Louise & David’s Bury Court Barn Wedding
Louise and David chose Bury Court Barn as the venue for their wedding. I was very excited to hear about the location, the gardens are beautiful and was keeping my fingers crossed for stunning weather. The day of the wedding arrived and my crossed fingers must had done some good, because the weather held and not one drop of rain fell, despite the grey skies!
Louise chose to prep in the cottage adjoining the barn. She is a warm, fun and bubbly woman with a humungous smile on her face at all times. It is ridiculously infectious! That morning she was very emotional, a tad bit nervous and overwhelmed with love. Her emotions came right to the surface when she caught a glimpse of David arriving, through the window of the cottage.
The ceremony was held in the barn, a rustic venue of wood and twinkling lights. Very simple and country elegant. As her dad gave her hand to David, a hush went over the crowd and everyone was filled to the brim with emotion. The weather stayed lovely and after the ceremony, the guests moved to the garden to sip drinks and mingle in the garden. I whisked the pair away from all the hustle and bustle for pictures around the beautiful gardens.
Back inside the barn, the wedding breakfast began. To mark each table there was a Marks and Spenser biscuit tin (in the shape of a van) the couple had been collecting, spray painted black as a tribute to the couples love of racing. It was a sweet way to share a bit of themselves to their guests. The food was simply scrumptious and the celebrations extremely lively.
